Welcome to Clarion Hotel Post in beautiful, easy-going Gothenburg. The hotel is located in what used to be the post office on Drottningtorget (“the Queen’s Square”), in an impressive, 1920’s building which has been designated an historical building by the Swedish State.
The building has been developed into a modern hotel facility which contains 500 hotel rooms and a rooftop sun terrace and pool overlooking Gothenburg.

Recreation at the hotel
Clarion Hotel Post features a spa department, - the “Skönhetsfabriken” (“The Beauty factory”), which includes complete health and beauty centre working with hair care, medical and classical skin care and fitness training.
For relaxation and recreation there is also a rooftop sun terrace and pool overlooking Gothenburg.
Getting there
From the airport by taxi
From the airport, you can easily get to Clarion Hotel Post by bus or taxi.
If you prefer taxi we recommend that you chose Taxi Göteborg. You can just flag a cab at the airport, or call in advance for a reservation and pick-up. Here’s the phone number: +46 31 65 00 00.
From the airport by bus
Landvetter Airport and Gothenburg City Airport both have airport coaches that goes directly to the City Central station (named Nils Ericson Terminalen/Resecentrum), located right next to the Clarion Hotel Post. The airport coaches are called “Flygbussarna” and you’ll find the timetables and rates here.

All the way to the hotel by train
All train services to Gothenburg arrive at the Central Station in Gothenburg. Get off the train, walk across the street, - and you are there!
By Car
No matter if you come from E6 North, E6 or E45 South, E20 from Stockholm or Road 40 from Jönköping, - just drive towards the City Center and the Central station and the hotel is right there.
Parking in the area
There is plenty of parking available in the area nearby the hotel. For example the large Nordstan Shopping Center offers 2,700 spaces in a safe environment. And it’s always open.
